Sarah Wright

Founder and Managing Partner

Ms. Wright has over 25 years of senior management experience in private equity, investment banking and at energy companies.

Ms. Wright joined Goldman Sachs in 1998 and helped to launch Goldman Sachs Power, the firm’s initial entry into electricity commodity markets, including the successful development of Constellation Power Source, a joint venture with Constellation Energy Group. In 2001, she became part of the senior management team at Constellation, where she held various roles within its commodity trading, investing and risk management unit, leading the development and execution of a wide range of investments. In 2005, Ms. Wright became a co-founding Partner at Energy Capital Partners, where she helped to establish and served as a Director of FirstLight Power Holdings. In 2014, Ms. Wright went on to establish Hull Street Energy to deploy capital into the North American power sector as it transitions to a more sustainable footprint. Hull Street Energy is differentiated by its deep industry expertise and proprietary analytical approach to energy focused investment management.

Ms. Wright also serves as a trustee of the Sidwell Friends School in Washington, DC. She received a B.A. from Smith College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Dr. Booth has 15 years of experience in the energy industry, focusing on the quantitative modeling and risk management of commodity markets, assets and transactions.

He was an early employee of Constellation Power Source and helped build the modeling and risk management framework that supported the company’s growth by ensuring continuity between initial valuation and subsequent portfolio risk management. In 2005, he became a member of the senior management team at Constellation and provided the strategic direction relating to quantitative analysis and firm-wide pricing and risk management system design for its expansion into new markets, moving beyond power to natural gas, coal, freight and weather. He co-founded Hull Street Energy in 2014.

Prior to joining Constellation, Dr. Booth held positions in the physics departments of Johns Hopkins University and the University of Florida, where he conducted research in high energy particle physics.

Dr. Booth received a B.A. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Chicago.

Mr. Orman has 20 years’ experience in the energy industry, including power generation investments, risk management and trading, oil and gas investment and development and managing the mid-stream and transportation logistics associated with upstream investing.

Mr. Orman spent over a decade at Constellation Energy Group, most recently acting as President of its wholesale marketing, trading and asset management arm. Throughout his years at Constellation, Mr. Orman played a lead role in designing and managing the company’s approach to commercializing its energy asset base, including developing the connection between risk management and the investment portfolio. He also led the development of numerous detailed proprietary fundamental analysis efforts and the execution of related investment strategies. Earlier in his career, Mr. Orman worked in Arthur Andersen’s Business Consulting Group where he consulted on strategy and operational issues to U.S. and international oil and natural gas producers and midstream companies. He co-founded Hull Street Energy in 2014.

Mr. Orman received a B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin and an M.B.A. from the McCombs School of Business at University of Texas.

Mr. Willis has more than a decade of experience across a broad range of areas including commodity trading, transaction structuring, logistics, investment management and public policy.

Previously, Mr. Willis worked at EDF Trading, one of the largest global energy traders, where he was responsible for coal origination activities. Until 2011, he was at Citigroup, where he was responsible for building the firm’s dry bulk industrial commodity trading desk and was charged with expanding Citigroup’s capabilities in physical commodities. Mr. Willis also worked at Constellation Energy Group, where he ran the firm’s global shipping business, evaluated and executed investments in various energy businesses and was part of the team that established Constellation’s successful London-based international commodity trading unit. Mr. Willis has also worked in the public sector, most notably as Chief of Staff in the Office of International Affairs at the Department of Energy, and as a member of the political staff at the White House under President Clinton. He co-founded Hull Street Energy in 2014.

Mr. Willis received a B.A. from Washington & Lee University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Mr. Meeker is an accomplished financial executive with more than 20 years of global operational and financial experience in manufacturing, energy and investment industries.

Prior to joining Hull Street 2014, Mr. Meeker was Vice President of Finance at Enviva, a Riverstone Holdings portfolio company where he helped lead all corporate financing activities. Mr. Meeker was part of the executive team that grew Enviva from a startup company to the world’s largest supplier of utility-grade wood pellets for the power generation market and ultimately an initial public offering. Prior to Enviva, he held various finance positions of increasing responsibility at Altra Industrial Motion and Colfax Corporation, both manufacturers of industrial goods.

Mr. Meeker received a B.S. in Management from Washington & Lee University and an M.B.A. from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia. Mr. Meeker has been a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder since 2000.

Before joining Hull Street Energy in 2014, Mr. Morris distinguished himself as a highly accomplished and versatile energy professional over the course of more than three decades, including 23 years at Constellation. His experience ranges from financial analysis and structured transactions to plant development and technical and operating assignments.

Mr. Morris joined Constellation in the power plant development unit, where he was integral in the development of numerous plants – both in the United States and elsewhere. In 2001, Mr. Morris became part of the leadership of Constellation’s merchant plant acquisition unit. Shortly thereafter, he was assigned to the commodity transaction origination and structuring group where he was responsible for developing numerous multi-year unit contingent power transactions, as well as fossil, nuclear and renewable generation asset acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to joining Constellation, Mr. Morris worked at Geothermal Resources International, Inc. developing renewable energy projects.

Mr. Morris received a B.S. from the University of Arizona and is a former Certified Public Accountant.

Shijia Chen

Ms. Chen joined Hull Street Energy in 2019 as an analyst. Her primary responsibilities include financial modeling, industry research, due diligence and portfolio company performance analysis.

Prior to joining Hull Street, Ms. Chen served as an Investment Analyst Intern at Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board, where she focused on hedge fund investment strategy and portfolio management. She previously served as a Strategist Intern at Shenwan Hongyuan Securities, an investment bank in Shanghai, China.

Ms. Chen received an M.A. in International Economics and Finance from Johns Hopkins University with distinction, and a B.A. in Financial Management from Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in China.

Scott Hofmeister

Mr. Hofmeister joined Hull Street Energy in 2017. His primary responsibilities include diligence, evaluation, analysis, and structuring of equity investments.

Previously, he held various positions with the Walt Disney Company, where he focused on corporate finance, new business initiatives and infrastructure-related financial planning. He also served as a Harvard Business School Leadership Fellow for the Environmental Defense Fund, helping numerous states to design energy efficiency and distributed generation investment incentive programs. Prior to attending business school, he was responsible for deal origination and execution for a middle market private equity office targeting distressed buyouts in the North American manufacturing sector and the implementation of green technologies.

Mr. Hofmeister received a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.

Wanjiku Kebuchi

Ms. Kebuchi joined Hull Street Energy in 2018, bringing over 15 years of experience providing administrative support to top-level executives, primarily in the private sector. She works closely with the executive team to fulfill a broad array of administrative, logistical and project management requirements.

Prior to joining Hull Street Energy, Ms. Kebuchi was Executive Assistant to the CEO of Snag, an online staffing platform specializing in hourly work. Previously she served as Special Assistant to the President of The Raben Group and a team of consultants at the national public affairs and strategic communications firm. There she collaborated on initiatives with organizations and leaders dedicated to a core diversity mission. Prior to this she supported multiple C-level executives at PayPal, where she served as Secretary of their global compliance committee, as well as wide-ranging organizational, administrative, analytic and technical support responsibilities.

Ms. Kebuchi graduated with a B.A. from Marymount University in 2005.

Patrick Norris

Mr. Norris joined Hull Street Energy as an Analyst in 2022. His primary responsibilities include financial modeling, industry research, due diligence, and portfolio company performance analysis.

Prior to joining Hull Street Energy as a full-time employee, Mr. Norris supported HSE’s investment team as a part-time intern since early 2021. In addition to his time at Hull Street Energy, Mr. Norris also held summer Analyst intern positions at Credit Suisse, Constellation Energy, and Florida Power & Light Company.

Mr. Norris received a B.S.B.A. in Finance, B.S.B.A. in Data Analytics, and a M.S. in Data Analytics from the University of Miami.

John Rizas

Mr. Rizas joined Hull Street Energy in 2018 and has over thirteen years of experience in accounting for both public and private sectors. His primary responsibilities include accounting functions for the Hull Street management company and the various investment vehicles.

Previously, he was the Controller for CNF Investments, a private equity/venture capital subsidiary of Clark Enterprises where he managed the accounting operations for several investment vehicles. He also worked at Crowell&Moring, an international law firm headquartered in Washington DC where his responsibilities included consolidating accounting operations for 6 domestic and international offices. Mr. Rizas began his career as a public accountant at Bond Beebe auditing several clients spanning a wide range of industries.

Mr. Rizas received his B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Maryland, College Park and is an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA).

Dan Sade

Mr. Sade joined Hull Street in 2022. His primary responsibilities are deal execution and portfolio company monitoring, including due diligence, financial modeling, and industry research.

Most recently, Mr. Sade served as an Associate on BNP Paribas’ Energy, Natural Resources, and Infrastructure platform focusing on project finance transactions across the Americas. Prior to BNPP, he served as a Civil Engineer on Vanasse Hangen Brustlin’s Transit and Rail group, focusing on transportation infrastructure projects along the eastern seaboard.

Mr. Sade received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Boston University and an M.Sc. in Strategic Management from HEC Paris.

Mackenzie Sheehan

Ms. Sheehan joined Hull Street Energy as an Analyst in 2022. Her primary responsibilities include financial modeling, industry research, due diligence, and portfolio company performance analysis.

Prior to joining Hull Street Energy, Ms. Sheehan served as an intern on the portfolio management team at Verisk Financial where she was responsible for analysis and presentation of bank specific market trends in credit and deposit payments.

Ms. Sheehan received a B.A. in Economics, Environmental Studies, and Data Analysis from Wesleyan University.

Kevin Telford

Mr. Telford has spent over a decade in the energy industry focused on investing, market operations, and business development in the power and natural gas sectors.

Most recently, Mr. Telford provided consulting services to private equity and hedge fund managers interested in North American power markets. Previously, Mr. Telford worked at Constellation Energy Commodities Group and Exelon Generation Company for a decade, holding several roles within the firm’s commodity trading and investing unit, including as a Director in the firm’s Portfolio Management group and later as part of Exelon’s Business Development team. Mr. Telford has extensive experience in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Canadian energy markets where he managed transaction execution processes as well as performance of the firm’s merchant generation fleet and load service obligations.

Kevin Telford received a B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University, including graduate work in economics and applied mathematics.

Matt Tomberlin

Mr. Tomberlin joined Hull Street Energy in 2022. His primary responsibilities are deal execution and portfolio company monitoring, including due diligence, financial modeling, and industry research.

Most recently, Mr. Tomberlin was a Senior Associate in Kayne Anderson’s Energy Private Equity group, where he focused on M&A due diligence in the Upstream and Midstream energy sectors as well as portfolio company management and monitoring. Earlier in his career, Mr. Tomberlin worked as a Reservoir Engineer at Chevron covering unconventional assets in East Texas as a project manager and later as a reserves engineer in the Delaware Basin.

Mr. Tomberlin received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Todd Wynn

Mr. Wynn has over 20 years of senior management experience in the energy industry focusing on operations and asset management of a wide range of renewable assets.

Prior to joining Hull Street Energy in 2018, Mr. Wynn was Vice President of Operations at Brookfield Renewable Partners, LP. At Brookfield, Mr. Wynn managed a large portfolio of hydroelectric, pumped storage and wind energy assets across New England and eastern Canada. Prior to Brookfield, Mr. Wynn was General Manager of Wind Operations at Enel Green Power North America Inc. At Enel, Mr. Wynn managed a sizable portfolio of wind energy assets across North America. Prior to his tenure at Enel, Mr. Wynn held various asset management and investment positions with GE Power and GE Capital.

Mr. Wynn received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Naval Academy, a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island and an M.B.A. from Cornell University.

Patrick Ponce

Mr. Ponce has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry and in private equity focusing on financial reporting and controls, tax structuring and transaction execution. Prior to joining Hull Street Energy in 2021, Mr. Ponce was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Cibolo Energy Partners, a credit focused energy investment fund.

Previously, he was a Vice President with The Carlyle Group, where he focused on transaction structuring and execution as well as overall fund management primarily related to Carlyle’s international energy funds. Prior to that, he was a Vice President with Valerus Compression Services, LP, a TPG portfolio company, where he was instrumental in the completion of over $1 billion in transaction activity both within the U.S. and internationally. Mr. Ponce also served in a senior management role at Genesis Energy, LP, a large publicly traded master limited partnership, with a focus on the midstream segment of the energy value chain. He began his career in public accounting and was most recently a Manager within the Transaction Advisory Services group of Ernst & Young where he focused on transaction due diligence and tax structuring.

Mr. Ponce earned a B.S. in Accounting from Southern Methodist University; an M.S. in Accounting and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas.

Randall Osteen

Mr. Osteen has 20 years of experience as a senior lawyer in the energy industry, focusing on managing transactional and regulatory legal risk.

He was an early employee at Constellation Power Source, Inc. and was instrumental in developing the documentary, compliance and regulatory risk framework for the organization. During his career at Constellation Energy, he was lead counsel on numerous complex material power and gas transactions nationwide. In 2009, Mr. Osteen became a member of the senior management team as General Counsel of Constellation Energy Resources, LLC, responsible for the legal work associated with wholesale, retail, mergers and acquisitions and non-nuclear generation.Following the Exelon merger with Constellation, he served as Vice President and Deputy General Counsel of the larger company.

Mr. Osteen also serves as Chairman of the Board for Young Audiences of Maryland. He received a B.A. from Emory University and a J.D from the University of Maryland.

Daniel W. Allegretti

Prior to joining Hull Street Energy, Mr. Allegretti was a consultant with Sigma Consultants, where he also served as the National Spokesman for the Retail Energy Supply Association. Mr. Allegretti has spent his career in the electric power industry shaping public policies, laws, and regulations as an advocate, as an advisor and as an expert witness. For two-decades he served as a Vice President in the State Government Affairs group at Exelon Corp. and affiliated company Constellation Energy, where he was responsible for the Company’s relationship with state and provincial governments across the northeastern United States and Canada. Mr. Allegretti is a recognized leader who has served two terms as Chairman of the New England Power Pool. In 2017 the Northeast Energy and Commerce Association awarded Mr. Allegretti with its prestigious Vanguard Award for his career contributions in support of competitive energy markets. Mr. Allegretti has served on the boards of various regional trade and industry organizations and has also worked as a transmission project developer with Anbaric Northeast Transmission Development Corp.

Mr. Allegretti holds a J.D. from Georgetown University and a B.A. from Colby College and currently resides with his family in Franconia, New Hampshire.

Katy Casey

Ms. Casey joined Hull Street Energy in 2019. Her primary responsibilities include developing and implementing human resource initiatives that align with the firm’s overall business strategy. Ms. Casey’s other responsibilities include supporting current and future portfolio company needs through the development of recruiting and training programs.

Prior to joining HSE, Ms. Casey spent several years as the Director of Human Resources for Producers National Corporation in Chicago, where she was singularly responsible for all HR functions including employee recruiting, onboarding, training, development and compliance for hundreds of employees. She has deep expertise in designing compensation and benefits programs; drafting and maintaining corporate HR policies; and administering global employee relations for complex organizations.

Ms. Casey received a B.S. in Human Resource Management from Indiana University Bloomington; and is an HRCI certified Professional in Human Resources.

Tim Ellis

Mr. Ellis joined Hull Street Energy in 2021. His primary responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing risk management and analytical systems. He has over twenty years of experience in the energy industry supporting and developing energy trading and risk management software.

Previously, Mr. Ellis worked for Constellation Energy Commodities Group and Exelon Generation Company, most recently in a Principal Quantitative Developer role. His responsibilities there involved working directly with all energy trading front, middle, and back office groups. Prior to entering the energy industry, he worked for IBM in mainframe and computer telephony software development.

Mr. Ellis received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University.

Craig Herlihy

Mr. Herlihy joined Hull Street Energy in 2021. He has over 12 years of finance and accounting experience which started in Public Accounting with subsequent SEC Reporting and Corporate Finance roles. He is responsible for a wide range of accounting and reporting responsibilities.

Most recently, Mr. Herlihy was the Director of Finance and Reporting at a Top 20 homebuilder. During his tenure he built out the Finance and Treasury functions as the company grew from a local builder to a large regional builder, through a combination of M&A and organic growth. Mr. Herlihy also helped the previous private equity owners exit their investment in the company and managed the transition to new ownership, a publicly traded foreign company.

Mr. Herlihy received a B.S. in Accounting and M.S. in Accounting from the University of Florida and is also a CPA.

William Kelly

Mr. Kelly joined Hull Street Energy in 2022. His primary responsibilities include accounting, internal controls, and reporting activities for Hull Street Energy’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Hull Street Energy, Mr. Kelly spent over 6 years performing various roles in public accounting. He retains extensive knowledge in accounting procedures, month-end-close processes, reconciliations, financial analysis, budgeting, and financial statement preparation.

Mr. Kelly received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from Salisbury University. He is an active Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland.

Andrew Kiss

Mr. Kiss has spent over two decades in the energy industry focused on business development and structured transactions in the power and natural gas sectors.

Most recently, Mr. Kiss provided consulting services to private equity and start-ups in the retail and wholesale power markets in the North America. Previously, Mr. Kiss worked at Constellation Energy Commodities Group and Exelon Generation Company for over 17 years originating transactions in the wholesale and retail gas and power markets. Mr. Kiss has extensive experience developing, negotiating and executing power generation investment and power purchase agreements with nuclear, natural gas, hydro, and wind generation assets in the northeast, mid-Atlantic and western power markets. Mr. Kiss has worked extensively with investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, cooperatives, merchant generators, retail energy companies, and insurance companies on dozens of bespoke energy transactions.

Mr. Kiss received a B.S. from Kent State University, and a M.B.A. from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

Michael Mann

Mr. Mann joined Hull Street Energy in 2018. His primary responsibilities include analysis and management of energy portfolio operations.

Most recently, Mr. Mann held a position with Enel X in the Advisory Solutions group, where he focused on commercial and industrial retail energy supply. He was part of the analyst team which valued retail supply contracts, developed peak load forecasting models and implemented demand management strategies. Prior to entering the energy industry, he served in numerous positions at the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business, including roles as guest lecturer of the Quantitative Finance Fellows program and data analyst in the Finance department. Mr. Mann started his career at Thomson Reuters Markets in New York, developing data analytical tools for commodities trading desks.

Mr. Mann received a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland’s Smith School of Business.

Mahmoud Mardishy

Mr. Mardishy joined Hull Street Energy in 2021. His primary responsibilities include supporting strategic planning for HSE’s portfolio companies by working with asset managers and commercial teams to pursue performance goals. He has 9 years of experience in equity valuation, corporate finance, and investment banking.

Prior to joining Hull Street Energy in 2021, Mr. Mardishy worked in Financial Planning and Analysis roles at Pansophic Learning and Enviva Biomass, where he supported reporting, system implementation, process automation and optimization. He also supported mergers and acquisitions and integrations of new acquired assets. Over the course of his career Mr. Mardishy has performed equity valuations, private placements, and greenfield modeling in sectors spanning from renewable energy, real estate, consumer goods, infrastructure, building materials, telecommunication, food and beverage, and software.

Mr. Mardishy holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Helwan University and is currently pursuing a CFA designation.

John Rizzo

Mr. Rizzo, has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry, focusing on risk management and trading. Prior to joining Hull Street Energy in 2022, Mr. Rizzo was a Portfolio Manager at The Energy Authority where the managed commodity risk, optimized power plant dispatch parameters, and structured transactions for a diverse group of public power utilities.

Previously, he was a Senior Trader at EDF Trading North America where he specialized in structuring commodity transactions and negotiating logistics agreements to arbitrage between U.S. and international coal markets. Following JERA Trading’s acquisition of EDF Trading’s coal and freight business, Mr. Rizzo led the transition of the U.S. commercial energy portfolio to JERA Trading North America. He began his career at Constellation Energy Group as part of the portfolio management team.

Mr. Rizzo received a B.A. in Economics from Washington and Lee University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder.

Andre Senenko

Mr. Senenko specializes in project development for various Hull Street Energy portfolio companies, including the General Management of Serium Energy Storage. He has over fifteen years in the energy industry focusing on business and asset development in the power and natural gas sectors. Previously, Mr. Senenko worked at Constellation Energy and Exelon Corporation holding several commercial roles within the firm’s commodity trading and investing unit, including as a Director in the upstream gas principal investment and wholesale power business development groups, and later as General Manager of the firm’s LNG Export Project Development unit. Most recently, Mr. Senenko was Director of Enterprise Risk Management where he oversaw risk governance for Exelon Generation.

Mr. Senenko received a B.S. in Economics from the United States Military Academy at West Point and a M.B.A. from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland.

Scott Weinstein

Mr. Weinstein has over 30 years of experience working for financial institutions ranging from large banks to private equity. He has broad expertise in commodity risk management, derivative pricing and risk models, and physical operations in the power and gas markets, and has had a long career in creating and developing best in class risk management platforms for bulge bracket financial institutions that participate in the energy markets.

In the early 1990’s, Mr. Weinstein led the creation of its Goldman Sachs’ proprietary risk management platform known as Secdb. He was the lead Strategist developing quantitative models for Goldman to enter the natural gas markets in 1994. He was also the lead strategist for Goldman Sachs in the joint venture that created Constellation Power Source in late 1996 wherein he and his team developed the capability to trade, schedule, and manage physical and financial risk in the deregulated power markets. Mr. Weinstein’s career included a four-year stint as Co-Head of the Goldman Sachs power trading business and four years leading an effort to bring credit trading into Goldman’s risk management platform.

During the decade following the financial crisis in 2008, Mr. Weinstein spent almost eight years in JP Morgan as the lead quantitative strategist for a broad commodity business which included energy, metals, and agricultural trading. In those years, he helped JP Morgan to successfully develop a rival risk management platform to the one that he had developed in Goldman Sachs. This effort helped catapult JP Morgan into the upper ranks of energy trading across the top financial institutions.

Mr. Wright joined Hull Street Energy in 2020. He has over thirteen years of experience in the energy industry focusing on engineering, operations, and asset management, and helps to drive commercial and technical improvements across the HSE portfolio company fleet.

Previously, Mr. Wright was an asset manager at LS Power, where he managed day to day operations of various thermal assets within PJM. Prior to joining LS Power, Mr. Wright worked for Competitive Power Ventures where he executed various asset management functions, including contract negotiations, financial modeling, and engineering support. Mr. Wright also spent nearly a decade as a Principal Engineer at Constellation Energy, where he was instrumental in improving fleet performance.

Mr. Wright received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from West Virginia University, a B.S. in Computer Engineering from West Virginia University, a M.S. in Finance from Loyola University Maryland, and an MBA from Loyola University Maryland.

Tom Brooks is a Senior Advisor at Catalio Capital Management, LP, where he also serves on the Credit Opportunities and Nexus Investment Committees. From 2001 to 2008, Tom served in a variety of executive officer roles at Constellation Energy Group, Inc., including Vice Chairman & Executive Vice President. Previously, he Co-Founded Anthem Energy, LLC, a private investment firm focused on North American energy investments. From 2001 to 2008, Tom served in a variety of executive officer roles at Constellation Energy Group, Inc., including Vice Chairman & Executive Vice President. He was also President of Constellation Power Source (Constellation’s marketing and trading unit) and President of Constellation Energy Resources (a subsidiary that included non-nuclear power generation operations, wholesale and retail energy marketing and trading, and business development). Prior to joining Constellation, Tom was a senior member of the team that developed Goldman Sachs’ domestic power business within Goldman’s Fixed Income Currency and Commodities Division. Prior to joining Goldman, Tom was a founding partner of two successful startups: AERX, Inc., which was sold to Enron in 1992; and Elm City Management, LLC. Earlier in his career, Tom worked as a geophysicist, engaged in oil and gas exploration. Tom earned a B.S. from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Yale School of Management.

Scott Helm is a private investor based out of Baltimore. He currently Chairs the Vistra Energy (NYSE: VST) Board of Directors. Previously, Helm was a founding partner of Energy Capital Partners, a private equity firm focused on investing in North American energy infrastructure. Prior to joining Energy Capital Partners, he served as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Orion Power Holdings, Inc., a publicly listed company that owned and operated power plants. Before that, he worked as a consultant to the private equity consortium leading the acquisition at Texas Genco. Helm began his career at Goldman Sachs & Co., first working in the company’s fixed income division then moving to the investment banking division. He received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Washington University. Helm serves as treasurer on the board of the Chesapeake Shakespeare Company.

Mr. Barpoulis has over 25 years of finance and executive leadership experience in the energy and government services sectors, with demonstrated success as a public company CFO, guiding businesses through periods of growth, transformation and restructuring. He began his energy career with U.S. Generating Company (later known as National Energy & Gas Transmission, Inc.) during a rapid growth phase, among the company’s first 50 employees, where he supported or led the financings of approximately $3B construction term loans and acquisition funding for generating plants throughout the U.S.

Mr. Barpoulis was later named vice president and treasurer, and was responsible for corporate and project finance, loan compliance, lender and bond investor relations, financial planning and analysis, insurance and internal audit. From 2005 to 2015, he was senior vice president and chief financial officer for Centrus Energy Corp. (NYSE MKT: LEU), formerly known as USEC Inc. (NYSE: USU), a leading producer and supplier of low enriched uranium fuel for commercial nuclear power plants worldwide. He served as principal financial officer responsible for financial and strategic planning, corporate accounting and financial reporting, treasury, investor relations, tax, procurement, internal audit and information technology, and regularly provides financial and governance advisory consulting services and interim chief financial officer services for executive teams and boards of directors.

Mr. Barpoulis received a B.A. in physics from Vassar College, a B.E. in mechanical engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College, and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
